Anne Kukundakwe

KUKUNDAKWE ANNAH is a young woman born of 1992 and bred in Uganda She is very passionate about girl children and women at large, the passion that has slowly grown into something that defines her.

Anne’s passions and commitment mainly focus on issues that directly or indirectly affect the women and girls, she is always determined to bring out the best from the vulnerable girls that have had less opportunities, who have not had the privileges of attaining education.
As an advocate, her heart goes out to the girls that have been victims of teenage pregnancy, victims of gender based violence and child marriages , she however believes that they equally have potential to become who they want to become if given chance.

She is also very passionate about, menstrual hygiene, which she proudly calls #ENSONGA she has continued to work tirelessly to break the silence on menstruation periods and because she has been given various names “musawo” , counsellor among others .

She is aboard director for Africa youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development (AfriYAN ) Uganda chapter continental network that brings together youth led and youth serving organizations that advocate of sexual reproductive health and rights.

Anne is also the chairperson of African Union club Uganda chapter, that brings together all the young people in African that are members of the African Union.

Not forgetting that she is business minded and very innovative in the business world.

Anne a graduate from Makerere university has a degree in social sciences and she was once A peer Educator from Reach A hand Uganda.
