We have started the year on a good note as it’s always our pleasure to support our partners; the Ministry of Health on the review and progress for the National Health Policy for Adolescents with the Technical team from Ministry of Health and other key implementing partners.

The National Health Policy for Adolescents aims at promoting an adolescent responsive health care system that provides quality information and services to all adolescents including hard to reach, and those in Humanitarian and fragile settings.

This policy is envisioned to a Uganda where all adolescents are alive, healthy and thriving through increasing availability and accessibility of appropriate, acceptable, affordable and quality information and health services to all adolescents regardless of gender, socio-economic status disability and location.

The meeting aims at developing a road map to guide the steps of the approval of the policy as we are looking forward to having the policy approved latest by the 2020.
