We were unified under the belief that; “COMING TOGETHER IS A BEGINNING, KEEPING TOGETHER IS PROGRESS AND WORKING TOGETHER IS SUCCESS”.
The entire team participated in various team building activities whose intention was to foster cohesion and break the spirit of individualism. This activity was majorly characterised by games, which were purposely selected to enrich mental reflections, physical-body workouts and multitasking.

The retreat, was adorned by an open talk from the Mr. Humphrey Nabimanya, the Reach a Hand Uganda founder and C.E.O. He conveyed a message of encouragement to the team. He asked and re-emphasised the need for consistency in our commitments to achieving the greater goal.
“As an employee, you often know little about the efforts behind the brand you’re working for, you never know how it started and the challenges therein; only the leader knows”.

He implored the team to commit to the demands donors set to their donations and encouraged them to willingly give to the organization’s dream and goals. He further emphasized that as a team, the only way to take the organization further is to make it a part of us so much so that if anyone asks us what UYAHF stands for, we can answer succinctly in less than a minute.
